| Since 1998 a testing and measurement laboratory is operating in the company ACB Betons Ltd. Its main task is testing of the finished concrete products and raw materials. Considering that “ACB Betons” is one of the partners of the “A.C.B” group of companies, laboratory has a constant demand for testing of road construction materials. Therefore, testing of physical and mechanic characteristics of mineral materials and ground necessary for road building and providing these services for companies building roads and bridges in Latvia can be marked as the second function of the laboratory.
In order to improve the quality of testing construction materials as well as take into account the customers’ needs for testing services carried out in an accredited laboratory, a laboratory accreditation process was started in 2012. |

Since 2013 ACB Betons Ltd testing and measurement laboratory has introduced and maintains laboratory quality management system as well as it has received the LATAK statement confirming that the laboratory is competent to carry out testing corresponding to the requirements of LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard in the following field: physical and mechanical testing of mineral materials and ground; sampling of mineral materials. At present, laboratory carries out testing of construction materials and ground according to the 44 methodology requirements from which 14 are accredited.
